Gerardo Martínez Ruiz is a filmmaker and composer based in Guadalajara, México. His artistic vision focuses on understanding the world by externalizing inner conflicts through visual metaphors and crafting highly stylized realities. His commercial work includes collaborations with brands like Calvin Klein, United Nations, Stella McCartney, Puma, Call of Duty + Charly, and DMag + Valentino.
He has received multiple awards including CLIO, Webby and Telly Awards, as well as recognition in film festivals around the world including the Marché du Film at Cannes Film Festival. His recent credits include the documentary in collaboration with NASA "The Expedition: Mars 2030" and the short film "The Dreamer" from Executive Producer Sofía Vergara.
